Web CJ's Walkers

The Tennessee Walker is a horse with a very kind disposition, and they need this in return.  We imprint the foals and provide continuous training throughout their young lives.  They are treated with kindness and patience in the training.   We believe in the pleasure horses with lite shoeing or no shoeing, and with the gentleness that is required to make the horse have  trust in their trainer.  We are not into training for the shows that require the weights and methods that are used to hurt the horse in any way.  We believe that a horse learns faster, responds and repays their trainer and owner much sooner if they are treated with kindness, and patience.

Cyrstal's Cameo Princess in Winter Crystal was started when she was 6 months old and is willing to please in any way you ask her to.  This pictures is out in a open area and she loves to load in a trailer.  It is a pleasure for her, as she knows she gets to go for a trail ride, or work in the arena, and many times she tries to load with the other horses.  All of our horses are first taught to load in a two horse trailer and to back out, then they graduate to the slant load.  This way they are not hesitant in any situation.

We have chosen a farrier with years of experience,  in shoeing horses and training horses, - a gentleman that was riding Tennessee Walkers, before we had but very few in Wyoming.  Rollin and Clyde are fitting the shoes, and horses enjoy the attention.  His patience and expertise in shoeing these horses makes it easy for the new owners, or for us, when it is time to have their feet done.

Chief's Lady Sundae 3 mos This little filly is Chief's Sundae Lady,  at 4 months, when she was taken to a show and won 2nd place in weanling halter.  “Lady”  was foaled May 27, 1998, and has been an absolute pleasure  throughout her training.  She has a splendid gait, and we are anxious to start her under saddle this spring.   “Lady” is out of Blue’s Little Roan Lady, and GLL’s Chief.  She is fine featured, and has an excellent disposition.    She will be the perfect filly to have on your trail rides and pleasure rides when she reaches riding age.  Try her.
MERRY'S SOLID PLATINUM - 5 year old white gelding , born 5/16/96.   "Casper" was our young stallion, but we preferred to have a nice gaited white horse to ride and gelded him in 2000.  Casper is out of Merry Go Boy and Tamarack Kid background breeding.  He is a real mover.
